Sat, April 12th, 2008 If you would like to suggest a future date for your troupe or class, or would like to host Katerina to conduct a workshop in your town, please contact her for available dates!
Katerina, a professional custom clothier (for over 15 years), will show you how to make a complete dance bra and belt set of superior quality and style, for much less than the cost of an imported costume. She will take you through the entire process, giving you the tips and tricks of the trade, enabling you to make your own unique, one-of-a-kind costumes. If you can thread a needle, you can make your own individual and beautiful bellydance costumes, too! Limited only by your imagination, your hand-made creation will be a work of art; yet will hold up to performance after performance – and always with a perfect fit! You MUST pre-register for this workshop; space is limited for the benefit of personalized instruction. Cost is $120 for an 8 hour workshop. Payment may be made in full or in two installments for your convenience, by check or Paypal: $60. Deposits are non-refundable. If you wish to join us, please register ASAP, as you will be receiving a packet and list of what to bring along. This is a hands-on, intensive workshop; you will be required to bring all the materials necessary to make most of a complete bra and belt set. Cost of materials will vary by individual, of course, but a rough estimate of what the necessary items for the workshop might run, could be as little as $50. This workshop is ideal for the budget-minded soloist or troupe, or any dancer with unique and individual tastes or fitting needs.
